Our unique Mini Glowing Solar Strings add atmosphere to any outdoor space. The set consists of twenty (20), 7/8" (23mm) balls are made of a smooth white opaque ABS plastic that is waterproof along with a compact solar panel with both a ground spike or tree/post attachment kit. Spaced at about a 6" interval, the 20 balls cover a length of 9.5'. An additional 6.5' of waterproof wire connects the solar panel to the string permitting you to find an ideal sunny spot to locate the solar panel. At dusk, the spheres glow brightly with a surprisingly bright white light that adds elegance to any surroundings. The solar panel uses a high quality amorphous type panel and an internal 1500mA NiMH battery to provide many hours of illumination. Fully waterproof, the panel and spheres look great when placed in trees, along fences or gates, from a trellis or anywhere you're adding atmosphere and elegance to an outdoor space. Powered by the sun, the lamps illuminate automatically at dusk. With good sun exposure, expect 8 hours of illumination or more, as performance is directly related to the amount of sunshine received (summer sun results in the lamps glowing for over 10 or 12 hours).
